Meet Our Leadership Team
Rev. Steve Hummel
PASTOR
Rev. Steven C. Hummel is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ and received his Masters of Divinity degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary in 2010. Steve served as a Licensed Minister from 2004 to 2010 at Phoebe Home in Allentown as a chaplain associate, St. Peter’s UCC in Allentown as an Interim Minister and Trinity UCC in Coplay as the Installed Pastor.
Rachel Troychock has served as the choir director of Trinity Reformed UCC since 2018. With a Bachelor of Arts in music from Bloomsburg University, she also directs the Brighter Light adult, children and teen choirs based in Berwick, PA. Rachel co-directed the children’s choir in Bloomsburg High School’s 2020 production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Colleen Matyas
ORGANIST
Colleen Matyas has been a professional musician for over 35 years and started playing the piano at the age of 5. She is dedicated to Trinity Reformed UCC, having served as Organist/Pianist for the last 18 years providing uplifting and meaningful music for regular Sunday services and the choir, as well as weddings and sadly... funerals. She enjoys thrifting, Nascar, and Penn State Football.
Greg Hein
CONSISTORY PRESIDENT
Greg Hein has been a member of Trinity Reformed UCC for 11 years. He has served on the Education Team, Finance and Consistory. Greg has served as President several years.
